Frequently Asked Questions

COWORKING & CHILDCARE

What is your opening timeline?

We are also accepting pre-sign-ups for families with toddlers, ages 1-3. We anticipate opening later this summer, pending final permitting and licensing approvals. For interested families, come tour our space as we bring our vision to life. A non-refundable security deposit is required to secure your spot.

Is your childcare center licensed?

We operate as a license-exempt program under California Health & Safety Code Sections 1596.792 and 1596.7995. Parents and guardians are required to remain on-site while their children are in our care. We adhere to Title 22 guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe, high-quality environment for every child, and our staff are fully-qualified early childhood care providers.

Does Little Village operate on weekends?

On weekends, we plan to offer space to host children's birthday parties and family-friendly events. We also plan to have open play hours for families. We do not offer coworking & childcare on weekends.

What are the prices and fees to join?

Our pricing varies based on the options and packages you choose.

We know childcare is one of the biggest expenses for families. That’s why we’ve designed our model to offer flexibility across different budgets, while still staying competitive in today’s market and accounting for rising living costs. This also allows us to pay our childcare providers and staff fair, livable wages.

Can I use the coworking space without my child?

Yes, we offer coworking-only options and day passes. You do not need to have a child enrolled to join. However, our childcare services are available to parents who use our coworking space or have booked a service with one of our partners in the same business complex at 22912 Pacific Park Drive in Aliso Viejo.

Can another parent or caregiver use the coworking space instead of me?

Yes, your membership includes one additional designated adult (such as a second parent, grandparent, or guardian).

Coworking memberships are valid for one individual at a time. If both parents/caregivers wish to use the coworking space simultaneously, a separate day pass or membership is required.

Are the childcare and coworking areas separate?

Our workspace is located upstairs, with the main childcare area downstairs. The spaces are intentionally separate so children cannot see their parents while they are working, allowing for a focus and a calm environment for both parents and their children. During our initial soft-launch phase, we will be operating out of two office suites: one dedicated to supervised childcare and the other designated as a coworking space for parents.

What coworking amenities are available?

High-speed internet, printing services, coffee, tea, and water. You also have access to our quiet room, where parents can expect a zen, peaceful environment with nap chairs, loungers, yoga mats, and meditation cushions.

Can I access the office after business hours?

We currently offer access to our coworking space during normal business hours. As we expand in the future, we may consider offering extended access for members for an additional fee.

What are other perks I have access to as a member?

We are located in the same building and business complex as a yoga studio, beauty salon, and more. Take care of what you need, whether it’s work or self-care, while your child is in our care.
